Looks like Cold Core Omega has its own blog now! I'll be updating this with the status and also making some commentary and art that I'll post here as I come up with it. The reason I'm starting it now is that I finally reached a major turning point in the project's development...



The CCO manuscript has officially been completed! This is a huge milestone for the project, and after a bit of tweaking I'm going to be sending off that version to my beta readers for tweaking and proofreading. Once I make the real final draft, I can then start the fun part.



Thumbnailing or storyboarding the pages will be the next step, but it's more of a layout process and with any luck won't consume too much time. Let's keep our fingers crossed!



After that will be the drawing of the actual comic pages themselves. I'm still debating on how to approach the shading...toning by hand or computer, or maybe I should do it in color after all. I had a black and white graphic novel in mind when I first started this, but...ah well, it's a work in progress. We'll just see about the shading!
